1. General Provisions

1.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.

1.2 We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior individual notice. The revised Terms will become effective immediately upon publication on this page. Your continued use of this website will be deemed as acceptance of the amended Terms.

1.3 You must be at least 18 years of age, or use this website and make purchasing decisions under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

2. Product Information and Pet Safety

2.1 Product Descriptions: FURRY GEM strives to ensure that product images, descriptions, and ingredient lists on the website are accurate. However, due to lighting, photography, or screen display variations, actual product colours may differ slightly from the images.

2.2 Ingredients and Allergy Notice: All ingredient lists for pet treats are clearly displayed on the respective product pages. It is your responsibility to carefully review the ingredient list before feeding to ensure the product is suitable for your pet, particularly if your pet has known food sensitivities or health conditions.

2.3 Feeding Guidelines: Pet treats are supplementary food items only and should not replace regular meals. We recommend that owners supervise their pets while they are consuming treats and ensure that fresh, clean drinking water is always available.

2.4 Emergency Situations: If your pet exhibits any adverse reaction or choking incident after consumption, discontinue feeding immediately and consult a registered veterinarian as soon as possible.

3. Ordering and Payment

3.1 Order Confirmation: Upon submitting an order on this website, you will receive an automated "Order Confirmation Email". This email merely acknowledges receipt of your order request and does not constitute formal acceptance of the order. A binding contract is formed only when we issue a "Shipping Confirmation Email".

3.2 Pricing and Payment: All product prices are listed in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD). We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, FPS, PayMe, Alipay. All payment transactions are processed by encrypted third-party payment gateways. FURRY GEM does not store your full credit card details.

3.3 Order Cancellation and Modification: Once an order has been confirmed and payment processed, the system automatically initiates fulfillment procedures. Therefore, cancellation of orders or changes to product selections cannot be accepted. Please review your cart contents and shipping details carefully before submitting your order.

3.4 Right to Refuse Orders: FURRY GEM reserves the absolute right to refuse or cancel any order at any time for any reason, including but not limited to inventory discrepancies, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent transactions. In such cases, any amounts paid will be fully refunded, and no further compensation shall be provided.

4. Delivery and Transfer of Risk

4.1 Delivery Coverage: We currently provide delivery services within Hong Kong only. Additional surcharges or restrictions may apply to remote areas or outlying islands.

4.2 Shipping Fees: Single order over HKD 300 enjoys free shipping; orders under HKD 300 charge a flat shipping fee of HKD 25.

4.3 Delivery Timelines: We will make every effort to deliver within the selected time slot; however, actual delivery times are subject to traffic, weather, and public holidays. Any stated delivery dates are estimates only and do not form part of the contractual commitment. FURRY GEM shall not be liable for any loss arising from delayed delivery.

4.4 Transfer of Risk: Ownership of the products shall transfer to you upon delivery of the products by FURRY GEM to the logistics carrier; risk of loss or damage to the products shall transfer to you upon delivery of the products to the address specified by you and upon signature of receipt.

4.5 Unsuccessful Delivery: If products are returned due to an incorrect address provided by you or because no one was available to receive the delivery during the scheduled time slot, an additional re-delivery fee will be charged.

5. Returns and Exchanges Policy

5.1 Food Hygiene Principle: Due to public health and pet food safety considerations, all opened or used pet treats and food products are non-returnable and non-refundable, except as otherwise specified herein.

5.2 Defective or Incorrect Items: If you discover upon receipt that the product packaging has been severely damaged during transit, or if the items received do not match your order, please contact us via email within 24 hours of receipt, providing clear photographic evidence. Upon verification, we will arrange for a replacement or refund of the relevant amount.

5.3 Refund Method: All eligible refunds will be processed using the original method of payment. Processing times depend on the policies of the card issuing bank or payment platform.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 All content on this website, including but not limited to the FURRY GEM name, trademarks, logos, images, product packaging designs, text copy, and website interface design, are the exclusive property of FURRY GEM or its content suppliers and are protected by Hong Kong and international copyright and trademark laws.

6.2 You may not reproduce, modify, republish, distribute, or exploit any content from this website for commercial purposes without our express written authorization.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

7.1 Website Services: FURRY GEM does not guarantee that the operation of this website will be uninterrupted, virus-free, or error-free. We shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from the use or inability to use this website.

7.2 Pet Health Responsibility: FURRY GEM's role is to provide natural and healthy treat options. We are not veterinary professionals. Any descriptions regarding product efficacy or ingredient benefits on this website do not constitute medical advice. Any changes to your pet's diet or health concerns must be discussed with a qualified veterinarian.

7.3 Cap on Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of FURRY GEM under these Terms, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

8. Account Security

If you register for a membership account on this website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and login credentials. You shall be fully responsible for all activities conducted through your member account. Please notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

9. Force Majeure

FURRY GEM shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms due to fire, flood, severe weather, strikes, war, epidemics, government decrees, or any other unforeseen events beyond our reasonable control.
